Slime isn’t just for kids. You can squeeze it and pull it when you’re stressed — or just because it’s plain fun.
But you don’t have to go out and buy slime — you can make your own. In fact, you probably have all of the ingredients at home you need to make this DIY glitter rainbow slime today. Plus, it’s easy!
What you’ll need:
How to make DIY rainbow glitter slime:
First, stir together 1/2 cup glue, 1/2 cup water, 10 drops of one color of food coloring and one tablespoon of glitter. Next, add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and 2 tablespoons of saline solution. Then, knead the mixture for 10 minutes until it thickens and turns into slime.
Repeat this process with five other colors of food coloring to make six different colored slimes. To make a rainbow, roll out each color into a strip and lay each one next to another. Press down and gently knead to combine slimes and make a rainbow.
Hot tip: You can also add iron shavings to make your rainbow magnetic.
Whether you’re making this slime for yourself or someone else, it’s a fun DIY craft that takes less than 15 minutes, but provides hours to days of fun.
