1. OOKIOH
Why it’s great: OOKIOH’s beautiful designs are created with 100 percent regenerated materials. The brand is also on a mission to eliminate plastics from its footprint over the next two years.
What to shop: The brand’s Waikiki one-piece features a bustier top, a peek-a-boo back and is available now in sizes XS to CL.
2. Vitamin A
Why it’s great: Vitamin A uses EcoLux to create its beautiful designs. EcoLux is “the first premium swim fabric made from recycled nylon fibers.” Also, all of its materials are “certified to meet the global Oeko-Tex standard for safe textiles.”
What to shop: If you are a surfer or just looking for extra sun protection, the Remy Rashguard is a perfect pairing with your favorite bikini bottoms or one-piece.

Why it’s great: 90 percent of the fibers that Outerknown sources are “organic, recycled or regenerated.” The brand also sells Seea swimwear, which offers repairs and recycling for all of its suits.

7. Dippin Daisys
Why it’s great: 95 percent of the brand’s swimsuits are made from recycled pre- and post-consumer nylon. Plus, Dippin Daisys‘ “production process is [a] low carbon [practice] and environmentally friendly.”
