Parents are constantly juggling emergencies and putting out fires — and that doesn’t change when you’re on the go.
In this episode of In The Know’s Parenting Wins, hosts Andrea and Jose share their three favorite products that make traveling with the kids so much easier. Even when chaos reigns supreme.
“You’re having one of those days where you’re at the grocery store, you’re heading to a doctor’s appointment — emergency diaper change,” Jose said.
The nightmare scenario would make any parent shutter, but luckily Jose and Andrea have got you covered for all those on-the-go catastrophes.
1. Army Green Diaper Bag
If you’re not too enthused about carrying around a diaper bag with a whimsical print, then this dapper, army green diaper backpack is stylish and functional. It’s also Jose’s favorite parenting product ever.
“I love this diaper bag,” Jose said. “Guys really can’t rock diaper bags but this, I’ll rock. It’s super spacious. It has four different compartments.”
The diaper bag comes complete with a changing pad and straps that attach directly to the stroller. No heavy-lifting here.
“But that’s not the best part, it changes into a bassinet,” he said.
The sturdy bassinet pulls out of a pocket in the backpack, making it ideal for impromptu nap times.
2. LulyBoo Bassinet To-Go Travel Bed
The LulyBoo travel crib easily folds into a backpack for ease and ultra-portability.
“It’s always really great to have a place where you can put your young infant, in particular, and know that they have a safe cushioned place to rest or play,” Andrea said.
The bassinet has a removable canopy making it versatile for weather at the park or beach. It has a removable toy bar with two plush toys to keep your little one occupied and side pockets for extra storage.
3. Solly Baby Wrap
For parents who like to be hands-free while keeping their baby close to their chest, the Solly Baby Wrap is perfect.
“It’s a super silky soft jersey material,” Andrea said. “The Solly baby wrap does a really great job of making lots of really gender-neutral and just really classic and timeless patterns you can pass down through all of your children.”
The baby wrap perfectly swaddles your child and works for infants up to nine months.
“They tell you when your baby’s born immediately you attach them to your skin, they can hear your heartbeat and they know you belong together. I feel that this is a continuation of it,” Jose said.
