Madeline’s too-pretty-to-eat food creations have racked up nearly 9 million likes on TikTok, where she posts tutorials for everything from savory tofu pancakes to fresh watermelon slushies. She especially loves sharing twists on Korean recipes, and she recently launched a live cooking class on Zoom to teach people around the world how to bring Asian dishes (among other cuisines!) into their own homes.
In March of 2021, alarmed by the uptick in violence against the AAPI community, Madeline used her existing platform to found Cafe Maddy Cab, where donors crowdfund to cover ride shares for Asian-Americans who feel unsafe walking on the street. In just two days, Cafe Maddy Cab had already pulled in more than $125,000 to help keep people safe.
