A woman captured the nightmarish end to her friend’s Tinder date, and her fellow TikTokers agreed that it was a little bit worse than your typical awkward encounter.
Sarah Updike (@Sarah_Updike) shared the footage of what was supposed to be a double-date.

“My friend and I went on a double Tinder date and mine didn’t show up and this is how hers ended,” she wrote in the video.
While appearing to take a selfie, she showed her friend and her friend’s date getting in a one-sided argument on the sidewalk, in which the man yelled, “I am not the guy for you.” Then, while clapping between every word, he shouted, “But that’s just how it is.”
“I wish I could have snuck the whole thing in,” Updike wrote in her caption. “Can’t make this s*** up!”
She also explained in the comments that if her own date would have shown up, it would have been her “first Tinder date ever.”
Updike said she didn’t know much about what happened because she was “trying to give them space,” and noted that the prospective daters fought about Miley Cyrus earlier that day.
She added that her friend was totally OK, and they were laughing about the incident once it ended.
“I feel like I missed a few episodes or something,” one commenter wrote.
“WOW this must be what the opposite of ghosting looks like,” another said.
“Men are so emotional … he needs to calm down,” a third wrote, poking fun at a stereotype women often face.
