In The Know is proud to celebrate Pride Month. During this month, our team will highlight a wide range of LGBTQIA+-owned brands. We encourage you to support today and always.
With the rise of genderless beauty, more beauty brands are starting to see that no one particular makeup or skin care product is inherently male or female. One brand working to tear down the silos that exist in beauty is Non Gender Specific.
The brand (which won a 2021 In The Know Beauty Impact Award) launched in 2018. Beauty industry professional Andrew Glass noticed a divide within the beauty industry, one of “products marketed for men and women — and the endless amounts of products required in skin care routines,” according to the site.
So, what makes the brand a beauty standout? First, the LGBTQIA+ brand offers products that target at least seven skin concerns with each formula. The products are vegan, cruelty-free and focused on minimizing waste.
Non Gender Specific has sold hundreds of thousands of products in its short period of being. “The brand for all humans,” Non Gender Specific proves that good skin care belongs to all.
