Storm Reid is just that — a storm.

The actress and activist is In The Know’s August cover star, and based solely on her makeup looks, she did not come to play. Shot at the Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles by photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis, Storm’s fashion and beauty looks for the digital cover are breathtaking.

While the young ingenue played with luxury fashion houses such as Prada and Miu Miu (shoutout to her stylist Jason Bolden for bringing the visions to life), her makeup choices were bold, daring and surprisingly affordable.

For the shoot, the team leaned heavily on Maybelline products to create Storm’s standout beauty looks. Be sure to read the entire interview where Storm talks about life, school, Oprah and more.

If you are particularly inspired, here’s how to recreate the beauty looks:

Storm’s cover look is easily doable using only a few products.

TattooStudio Eyeliner Pencil, $8.99

Take one of the brand’s eyeliner pencils and use it as an eyeshadow! These pencils are extremely creamy, so you can use your finger to blend the pigment on the lid.

Baby Lips Glow Lip Balm in My Pink, $3.39

Because the eyes were so bold, Storm and the team opted for a soft, pinkish nude on the lips. You can achieve baby-soft lips with Maybelline’s Baby Lips products. And for less than $4? Stock up on all the shades.

For the cover, Storm swapped out the smokey green eye for a soft pink and paired the look with a glossy lip. If you’re someone who loves more of a natural look, you can easily achieve it with:

Lip Lifter Gloss With Hyaluronic Acid, $8.99

This gloss gives a naturally fuller, lifted look to the lips. It has hyaluronic acid, which nourishes and hydrates lips from the inside out. Also, there are 15 colors to choose from, so you can swap them out depending on what look you want to achieve.

The City Mini Eyeshadow Palette Skyscape Dusk, $9.99

An eyeshadow palette like this gives you a ton of flexibility for eye looks, thanks to the pinks and browns throughout. Pop one shade on the eye for something simpler, or build it up with three or more colors for a daytime smokey eye.
