A toddler showed who was really in charge when it came to the family pet.
Cassie Kats posts videos about motherhood on TikTok. Her little girl took the lead when it was time to feed their massive Rottweiler, Nash.
But the rugrat was totally fearless when engaging the canine. She took the task seriously, and the dog listened to her every command.
“When the 160-pound rottweiler is HER dog,” Kats captioned the video.
The mother handed the little girl a mason jar full of kibble. The toddler held the jar in her hand.
“Nash, sit,” she told the dog.
The dog sat as he eagerly awaited the meal. She then carefully poured the food into his green bowl. When the dog started to lose his patience and stood up, she wasn’t ready to give up control.
“Sit! Sit! Sit down. Sit. Sit. Sit,” she said sternly. “Good boy.”
The dog finally sat down and the little girl allowed him to eat. She then put the bowl away as the canine gobbled his food up.
Kats’ video received over 8.5 million views on TikTok.
“The fact that she made sure to say, ‘good boy,'” a user noticed.
“Love how he respects her,” another wrote.
“This is outstanding. I love how the dog is trying to recognize her command,” a person said.
