Football season is finally in full swing, whether you root for your college team or have a favorite NFL team — or both. But, of course, with football season comes tailgate season. There’s no shame if you show up for your team but stay for the food!

A proper tailgate means cooking out in the parking lot of the stadium from the back of your car. You can host a tailgate-themed party at home, too, though. No matter where you plan to cheer your team on, these items can help you take your tailgate to the next level.

1. Instant Pot, 3-Quart, $66.32 (Orig. $69.99)

You don’t need a full-sized 6- or 8-quart Instant Pot to make appetizers for the party. Use the smallest 3-quart size to make Buffalo chicken dip, wings, meatballs, pulled pork sliders and more. Slow cook your food or pressure cook it to taste like you kept it simmering all day long — either way, it’s an easy way to make a great app for a crowd.

2. Snack Stadium, $14.99

Snack stadiums require zero effort, but it looks like you spent hours putting them together. Essentially, they’re cardboard cut-out football stadiums with spots where you can stash sandwiches, chips and dip, charcuterie and whatever else you want to throw in there. You can get one at Party City or on Amazon. If you really want a low-effort spread, buy your sandwiches and dips pre-made from the grocery store.

3. YETI Tundra Hard Haul Cooler, $399.99

Credit: YETI

YETI coolers may cost more than all the food and drinks combined at your tailgate, but it’s worth it. The YETI Tundra Hard Haul Cooler can keep ice solid for up to two days and food cold for up to three (this edit can vouch for it!). However, this cooler also has wheels, which is necessary for hauling it from the house to the tailgate, or even from the garage to the backyard.

4. Brumate Hopsulater Slim Can Cooler, $19.99

Credit: Amazon

You’ve probably used, or at least seen, those soft neoprene koozies. Brumate’s Slim Can Cooler has the same goal of keeping your drink cold, but it actually works. Place your drink inside the stainless steel sleeve to keep your drink chilled all day long (or at least until you finish it). It comes in several colors and sizes, but this one fits White Claws and other seltzers’ slimmer cans.
