Amazon customers capture Ring camera footage of driver’s ‘crazy’ delivery mishap

An Amazon customer is going viral after sharing how a package accidentally ended up on his roof.

The “crazy” mishap captured on a doorbell camera is just the latest Amazon delivery saga to spread widely on TikTok. In early September, one user shared how a driver managed to catch an “unsafe” detail outside their home during a delivery. Before that, an Amazon worker drew praise after going above and beyond to kill a spider.

This latest video comes courtesy of a TikToker named Casey McPerry (@caseymcperry). In his now-viral clip, he showed just how wrong a delivery can go.

McPerry’s video begins with a message from his Amazon driver, who explains the unfortunate way he messed up the delivery.

“This sounds crazy but I accidentally threw a package on your roof,” the message reads. “Do you have a ladder I can use?”

From there, McPerry shows how it all went down.

In the footage, the driver walks up to McPerry’s house with two packages. However, after trying to swat away what looks like a bug, he loses his grip on one of the parcels — and sends it flying into the air.

The package apparently landed on McPerry’s roof. In a follow-up clip, he showed how he had to climb a ladder to get it down.

McPerry seemed completely unfazed by the mishap. In fact, he praised the driver for trying his best to salvage the delivery. Both clips show the Amazon worker inspecting the roof and trying his best to get to the bag.

“Thanks for making our day!” McPerry wrote in his follow-up video.

TikTok users were equally kind in their responses. Some felt bad for the driver, while others found his attempts “heroic.”

“I wanted to cry for this guy,” one user wrote.

“I hope you find this guy. He seems like a really good person and deserves kudos,” another added.

“Amazon trucks are gonna have ladders now because of this,” another joked.
