It may be 2021, but folks out here are still breaking new ground and being first. Take Cece Meadows, for example. She’s the founder and CEO of Prados Beauty, the game-changing Xicana/Indigenous-owned beauty brand that’s now available at JCPenney. If you can believe it, Meadows’ brand is the first of its kind to be available at a “big-box” store in the United States.

Meadows launched Prados Beauty back in 2018 and has been forging new ground ever since. Not only have designers at NYFW used her makeup products, but she also collaborated with Steven Paul Judd, a celebrated Native American artist.

When you buy products from Prados Beauty, you’re not just getting makeup that can help you look and feel good; you’re also doing good. As part of her mission to continuously uplift her community, Meadows donates a portion of all proceeds back to charities and causes that support Indigenous communities.

In addition to buying Prados Beauty on the brand’s website, pradosbeauty.com, you can also shop their makeup, makeup brushes and reusable bamboo makeup remover pads at

JCPenney. Check out a few products currently available to ship ASAP below.
