A mother’s emotional Christmas gift went viral on TikTok. Get ready to tear up.
LeAnne Partlow lost her mom to a tragic accident when she was 6 years old. Now a mother herself, Partlow wished that her late mom would be able to meet her daughter.
During Christmas 2020, Partlow received a special gift that made her wish come true at least a little bit.
“My mother was killed by a drunk driver when I was 6,” Partlow explained. “I am now a mother of a beautiful little girl. But sometimes it’s hard to accept my mom and daughter will never meet.”
In the footage, she unwrapped a massive Christmas present and could hardly stop crying to fully open up the touching gift.
“Today, I got the most beautiful gift, a painting of us all together,” Partlow said. “[It’s like] a snapshot frozen in time. So, of course, I ugly cried. I hope you all hold your loved ones close tonight and remember what’s truly important — love.”
TikTokers watched the emotional moment 13.1 million times.
“I’m crying too. This gift is so precious,” someone wrote.
“So sweet — my dad passed away when I was 5, and I cry knowing [he] will never meet my son,” another commented.
“I lost my older sister to a drunk driver when I was 4. I sympathize with you,” a user shared.
