A mom celebrated her husband’s personal growth and hard work in a touching video.
Caitlin Fladager has over 2.3 million followers on TikTok. The mom frequently posts about her children and husband. While their family might be picture-perfect on social media, that doesn’t mean they never faced any challenges or hurdles.
She and her husband were 16 and 17 when they first got pregnant. But as Fladager noted in her post, “not all teen dads are the same.”
“When I found out I was pregnant, my husband was 17. He was working at a fast-food place making pizzas,” she said. “When our daughter was born, he knew he wanted to provide a good life for us, so at 18, he began his career to be a plumber, and we moved 10 hours away with our baby.
At 19, the couple had a son together, which only made Fladager’s husband even more determined.
“He always had the goal of having his own plumbing company. So… with two babies at home, he worked 15-hour days and went to school,” she explained.
At 25, he quit his job as a plumber to finally start his own company.
“It wasn’t easy and took many years, but he did it. We did it. At 25, he now has his own, very busy, plumbing company,” Fladager wrote.
The emotional video received over 13.2 million views and 2.2 million likes.
“This is so sweet and touching. So glad I saw this,” a user wrote.
“He was definitely brought up right,” another said.
“A true love story. Where there’s a good man, there’s a good woman,” someone commented.
