One mom captured the weight of parenthood in a hilarious video. TikToker Sophia Renee is a wife and mother of two. And while she loves her family, that doesn’t mean that sometimes she doesn’t just want some alone time. Renee had other moms relating to the feeling in a viral video with over 2.1 million views.
“When I tell my kids’ dad that it’s his weekend with the kids, and he reminds me that we are still happily married,” Renee said.
She sulked on the couch, sitting upside down and switching into a new, more deflated position every few seconds. The reality had clearly sunken in. Mom was not getting a break.
“The nerve,” she joked.
People could completely relate to the mother’s stress and parenting woes.
“Play hide and seek…let them hide. Don’t go looking for them. Enjoy your coffee,” a person suggested. Renee replied, “I thought I was the only one that does this. Oops.”
“I tried to tell my husband I no longer wanted to be in a relationship with a man that has kids, although they’re mine,” someone said.
“When my husband is downstairs enjoying his time, I drop our baby off to him and go back upstairs,” another wrote.
