We may not pay attention to our nails as much as we do our skincare, but our nails need love too. And if you want to get healthier and longer nails, you don’t need to get a mani and pedi every week or press-ons to do so.

Case in point: thousands of Amazon shoppers love this Onyx Hard As Hoof Nail Strengthening Cream to help improve the quality of their nails. It’s currently the No. 1 best-selling nail growth product on Amazon, boasting more than 26,000 customer ratings.

Enriched with several key vitamins, minerals and other precious ingredients, the cream provides much needed moisture for dry and thin nails so they can become longer and harder. Additionally, it conditions cuticles and helps prevent cracks and peels in your nails.

But does it work? Well, many shoppers seem to think so. One reviewer praised how the cream helped their nails grow and bounce back after wearing gel nail polish.

“I decided to take a break from gel/SNS nails, and my nails were in pretty poor shape once I stopped getting them done…” they explained. “I’ve been using this lotion for about a month and a half, and I feel like I’ve seen an improvement. I’m still trying to get the damaged portion to grow out, but this stuff has helped my nails grow super fast.”

Additionally, multiple reviewers noted how the cream helped their nails recover from acrylic manicures.

“A few weeks ago, I removed my acrylic nails…” they wrote. “I’ve been using this product over lacquered nails twice a day for a week, and I can feel how much less flimsy they have become in that short period of time. I’m truly impressed.”

Although many shoppers acknowledged the positive effects from using the cream, a few reviewers took issue with the lotion’s seemingly strong “coconut and vanilla” scent. But even so, this did not appear to be a dealbreaker for other shoppers.
