Breakfast bars are a great way to get that much-needed morning fuel on the go. But even though breakfast is arguably the most important meal of the day, many people rush out the door without it. Enter the breakfast bar! Healthy, filling and perfect for busy schedules, breakfast bars are taking over TikTok. Jump-start your mornings with these four easy homemade breakfast bar recipes. There’s one for every palate, and the best part is there are no hidden ingredients when you make them yourself!

1. Pumpkin oatmeal harvest bars

Ring in the fall coziness with this recipe. To make these pumpkin oatmeal bars, combine mashed bananas, pumpkin purée, honey, vanilla extract, white chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips and rolled oats. Once thoroughly mixed, pour the batter into a pan and top off with more chocolate chips. Bake and enjoy that pumpkin, chocolatey goodness.

Enjoy chocolate for breakfast guilt-free with this recipe. To make it, start by mixing mashed bananas, peanut butter, light brown sugar, apple sauce and milk in a bowl. Next, add baking powder, salt and chocolate chips to the batter. Once thoroughly blended, scoop the batter into a baking pan and top with more chocolate chips before baking. 

3. Greek yogurt breakfast bars

This recipe combines Greek yogurt, nuts and berries into one delicious breakfast bar. To make it, add a medley of almonds, granola, berries and dark chocolate to a lined baking sheet. Next, using a spatula, combine the dry ingredients with Greek yogurt, mashed banana and cinnamon. Mix, then form the batter into a square shape. Freeze for at least 30 minutes, then crack into small bits and enjoy!

4. Apple oatmeal breakfast bars

Turn a bowl of oatmeal into a bar of oatmeal with this recipe. To make it, add rolled oats, oat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, maple syrup, almond milk, eggs and freshly chopped apples to a bowl. Once mixed, scoop the autumnal mélange into a lined tray before baking. Top off with a drizzle of warm peanut butter and enjoy!
