5-year-old who went viral for fearing her mom was an alien is now a published author

A little girl who was convinced her mom was an alien has published a children’s book about it.

Last September, Kira J’s 5-year-old daughter Nala Joye discovered the mother’s passport. In a fit of melodrama and tears, Nala confessed she thought the passport was evidence her mom was an alien

It turns out Kira J had let the little one watch the movie Men in Black, which put some crazy ideas in the poor kiddo’s head. The hilarious viral video got over 2.9 million views on Twitter. Now, Nala has self-published the aptly titled There’s Something Up With Mama on Amazon

The book description reads, “Follow the journey of Nala Joye as she investigates if her mama is who she says she is. After watching a movie that teaches kids how to look out for aliens, Nala is surprised with how many signs you have to look out for in the everyday life around you.”

Kira J commemorated her daughter’s milestone as a young author on Twitter, sharing a photo of Nala holding a copy of the picture book.

“Bring this to the screen, now!” a user commented

“Awesome! My brother (born here) found out that the rest of the family were ‘Resident Aliens’ and had a similar meltdown when we were little,” another wrote

“One of my favorite videos on the internet! I couldn’t stop laughing! Congrats!” someone added
