Mom shares touching reminder to ‘take as many videos’ of your babies as you can

Kids grow up so fast. That’s why it’s important to value each and every moment with them.

Every phase of a child’s life seems to go by in a flash: One second, they’re newborns, the next, they’re toddlers, and then they’re off to college. TikTok mom Katelyn Donnelly sounded the alarm to parents, urging them to take as many videos and photos of their little ones while the getting is good.

“This is your reminder to take as many videos of your little one as you can,” Donnelly wrote in the caption.

The footage showed her husband cradling their newborn son. There was nothing crazy happening, no gimmicks, chaos or antics. It was a father holding his sleeping baby boy

It’s the very definition of a precious moment. It’s the kind of memory every parent would forever cherish. And the kind that could be gone in the blink of an eye.

Donnelly advised parents, “Soak it all in! It’s crazy how much they grow in a short amount of time.”

People in the comments couldn’t have agreed with the mother more.

“My biggest regret is not taking videos of my baby in the hospital … She was so precious, but preeclampsia had me,” someone commented

“Agreed. I have a 6-year-old and a 12-day-old. I record everything. Time flies so fast, and being as though this is my last baby, I’m just taking it all in,” another said

“Yes! My son is 17 months, and I love every little clip I did take! Wish I had more! I’m about six weeks out from meeting our daughter! So excited!” a person wrote
